[One Night in 7612] - Part One, Released Today!


Finally after a year of learning on how to use both Renpy and HS2 StudioNeo properly, and a year of grinding out production.. I've managed to finish and publish my very first game.  Hooray!

It was a long and sometimes daunting journey just to get here. Where some days were just a plain struggle to get some work done trying to brute force my lazy ass to do something about it. Some weeks even, of pure inactivity because I can't make a certain feature work or the renders just keep looking hideous no matter what I tried or other myriad of problems that got hurled my way.

But thankfully I got through it and it's finally done!

Well just the first part...

I'm just a single guy working on this, so it took me quite some time just to get things rolling. Not to mention I know nothing about coding or using the studio. But once I got the hang of it, things just naturally flowed.

This first part was originally planned to be a bigger chunk of the game. Since my plan was to release a  "Vertical slice" of the full gameplay features that I planned for this game. But sadly I had to cut the section short because if not then I don't know how long I'd be in development limbo if I continued on in that path. 

Nonetheless I believe this is a good thing, since if you guys like it then you have more interesting mechanics to look forward to on the second part. That plus, since I cut this part shorter than planned, there's more releases to come before finishing off this story.

Anyways. To those who will find the interest to check out my game. I hope you enjoy it! I'm open to all and any feedback regarding the game, so let me know so I have an idea on how to make it better for you guys.
